Terrarium Description

Our Humboldt terrarium is a tribute to classic terrariums. This terrarium features a repeating design on the base with four symmetric curved arches that can act as a framing device for your plantings. The top of the terrarium is a neoclassical roof design that comes together in a point and provides plenty of extra height for planting.

Handcrafted Quality

At LeadHead, we meticulously design and handcraft our terrariums using the time-honored techniques of stained glass in our Michigan studio. Each terrarium stands as a testament to our dedication to craftsmanship, built for durability. Additionally, we craft the bases in our own woodshop. Our cozy studio is the creative haven for two devoted stained-glass artisans, committed to producing exceptional stained-glass works for modern living spaces.

Create a Miniature Ecosystem

Terrariums offer a simple, low-maintenance method for both seasoned gardeners and beginners to incorporate natural beauty into their indoor spaces. As self-contained ecosystems, they operate similarly to miniature greenhouses and necessitate less frequent watering compared to typical houseplants.

Timeless Style

Terrariums, which first appeared in the Victorian Era, were designed to transport and showcase exotic plants from across the globe. Our designs aim to maintain the enduring elegance and classic appeal of traditional terrariums while adding a contemporary style that fits modern living environments."
